MonyPortal – Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the MonyPortal mobile application ("the App"). MonyPortal is a cryptocurrency portfolio tracker that stores all portfolio data locally on your device and offers a free (ad-supported) version with an optional premium upgrade (ad removal).
By using MonyPortal, you agree to the terms in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1. User-provided data (stored locally)
The App allows you to manually enter the following data:
- Crypto assets you add (e.g., BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT)
- Quantity/amount information for each asset
- Buy/sell prices
- Transaction history (transaction type, amount, price, date/time)
- Premium purchase status (whether ads are removed)
Important: This data is:
- Stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage
- Never transmitted to any server controlled by the developer
- Used only within the app to display your portfolio and calculate profit/loss
1.2. Backup and export data
The App allows you to export your portfolio as a JSON file. This feature:
- Saves the file to your device's storage
- Lets you choose whether to share it via email, cloud storage, messaging apps, etc.
- Does not automatically send data to any server
- The JSON file contains: assets, quantities, and transaction history
1.3. Automatically collected technical data
The App may indirectly access the following technical information for proper functionality:
- Device type, operating system, and version
- App version
- Error and crash reports (aggregated by Google Play or the OS)
This data is primarily processed by Google Play and the operating system, and may be shared with the developer as anonymous/statistical reports.
2. Third-Party Services and SDKs
The App uses the following third-party services:
2.1. Google AdMob (Advertisements)
To provide free access to the App, we display banner and interstitial ads via Google AdMob.
- AdMob may collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, IP addresses, usage statistics, and similar data
- This data is processed by Google for ad delivery, performance measurement, and fraud prevention
- The App itself does not collect additional profile or identity data; however, AdMob may process data according to its own privacy policy
For more information: Google AdMob Privacy & User Data
As required by Google Play, we have indicated in the Play Console's "App content" section that the App contains ads. We comply with Google Play's privacy policy guidelines: Google Play Help Center
2.2. Google Play Billing & Apple In-App Purchase (IAP)
The App offers a one-time premium purchase to remove ads.
- Payment transactions are handled by Google Play Store or Apple App Store
- The developer never has access to payment information such as credit/debit card numbers
- The App only receives confirmation from the respective store that the premium product was purchased, and marks the premium status locally on the device
For more information, refer to the respective store policies:
- Google Play Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Apple App Store Privacy Policy
2.3. Binance WebSocket (Market Data)
The App uses Binance WebSocket API to fetch real-time cryptocurrency prices and USDT trading pairs.
Important clarifications:
- The App does not send any personal data to Binance
- The App does not send your portfolio contents to Binance
- The App only receives publicly available market data (cryptocurrency prices) that Binance broadcasts to all users
- This is a read-only connection – the App listens to price updates but does not transmit any information about you or your holdings
How it works:
- The App connects to Binance's public WebSocket stream
- Binance broadcasts real-time price data to all connected clients (this is public information)
- The App receives these prices and uses them for portfolio calculations on your device
- Your portfolio data (what coins you own, quantities, purchase prices) never leaves your device
What Binance knows: A device connected to their public WebSocket (IP address)
What Binance does NOT know: Your portfolio contents, transaction history, or any personal information
For more information: Binance Privacy Policy
