TarzMatch is an AI outfit-planning app that runs entirely on your device. This policy explains what data the app handles, how it is stored, and what — if anything — leaves your phone.
The short version: we do not collect, sell, or transmit your personal data. There is no account. There are no analytics. Your wardrobe photos and outfit history stay on your device.
When you use the app, the following information is stored locally in an encrypted database on your iPhone or iPad (protected by iOS File Protection Complete, meaning it is inaccessible while the device is locked):
All of this data lives only on your device. None of it is transmitted to TarzMatch's servers, because TarzMatch has no servers.
If you grant location permission, TarzMatch requests a coarse, one-shot location fix (accurate to about one kilometre) and passes it to Apple's WeatherKit service so it can retrieve today's forecast for you. WeatherKit is an Apple service; its use is governed by Apple's own privacy terms.
TarzMatch never stores or shares your location, and the app works without location — the weather-based outfit scoring simply falls back to a calendar-month estimate.
TarzMatch offers optional monthly and yearly Premium subscriptions. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. TarzMatch never sees your payment method, name, address, or Apple ID.
The app receives only the receipt information Apple provides through StoreKit in order to confirm that a subscription is active on this device.
The only external services TarzMatch uses are provided by Apple:
TarzMatch does not use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, Firebase, advertising IDs, crash-reporting services, or any other third-party tracking or analytics tools.
When you add a wardrobe item, iOS asks for permission to access your Photos library. TarzMatch reads only the photos you select — it does not scan your library in the background. Selected photos are copied into the app's local database and then processed on-device.
TarzMatch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Because the app does not collect personal information from anyone, this restriction is enforced by design.
Because your data is stored on your device, you control it. You can delete individual items from within the app, or remove all data at once by deleting the TarzMatch app from your device. Uninstalling the app removes the encrypted database and all associated data permanently.
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws (including GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California, and similar regulations elsewhere) may give you rights over your personal data. Because TarzMatch does not collect personal data on its own servers, most such requests do not apply — but you always have the right to delete your on-device data by deleting the app.
If we make material changes to how the app handles data, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Your use of TarzMatch is also governed by the End User License Agreement. TarzMatch uses Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
